I'm linking up to Outside Voice...

...Lauren hosts photo link ups and this month's theme is trees, easily one of my favorite subjects {before Behr} so I had loads of photos to chose from.  Here are some of my favorite trees from around the region:

2011: Outside the Library of Congress
I love how this photo looks like a windblown cotton ball.

2008: Hiking Old Rag in Virginia
If I could spend my entire hike looking up at this view, I would go every day!

2008: Nature Walk at Thomas Jefferson's House in Virginia
The beautiful "leggy" trunks deep in the woods.

Linked up on Outside Voice.  Thanks Lauren!

  1. Gorgeous gorgeous photos :) I've been dying to get back down to DC to see the cherry blossoms. Looks like I'll just have to try again next year!

  2. Thanks Alex! They are truly beautiful. We skipped the chaos of the cherry blossom festival around the tidal basin and simply enjoyed the trees on capitol hill. Make plans to come down and we can grab coffee...hooray!

  3. Thanks so much for linking up! This is an awesome post, and I just LOVE the 'white cotton ball' tree too:)

  4. PS. and it's a pleasure to be a follower now!
