The Life of Behr: 8 weeks

Where is the time going?  How are the weeks flying by so fast?  My little boy is starting to chunk up before my eyes and I am having lots of emotions.

Behr now wants to be in constant motion

His favorite place to sleep is in the arms of mom or dad

The saying that March roars "in like a lion, out like a lamb," is proving to be true about Behr.  He has certainly been roaring these days.  The screams have reached a new octave and his face a deeper shade of red than I have ever seen before.  My fingers are crossed that the "lamb" part is coming soon.

Behr is totally over his boppy...
{because he knows it means he is no longer in momma's arms}

...and books at the moment

Behr smiles when daddy comes home from work and says hello.  It is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen and my heart melts each time.  I love that he recognizes his father.  Nothing in the world beats the smile of a baby.

{woops!  zoomed in a bit too much this week.}

I am trying to cherishing each and every moment.  The screams, sleepless nights, and exhaustion are worth the world.  I love this kid so much I can hardly pull myself away from watching him sleep.  He is a champ.  I cannot wait to see what the next few weeks have in store!

  2. I will have my fingers crossed that he starts the "lamb" phase soon. I keep reading that there are just "high crying" times for babies and there is not much we can do! He is such a sweetie!
